During our weekly recycle of XCOM on one of our systems, we encountered the following error during our history file cleanup job:

XCOMM0455E XCOM120 HAS ENCOUNTERED A CRITICAL ERROR ON DATASET XCOMHIST

XCOMM0409E XCOMUSER OPEN ERROR 00 C4 - INQUIRY LIMITED
The VSAM return codes in these messages indicate that the VSAM alternate indexes defined for the XCOMHIST file are empty.
- Verify that the DSNs in your XCOMUTIL job for the AIX build match the DSNs that are in the XCOM server JCL.
- Review your XCOMUTIL job for errors.
- Be sure to run XCOMUTIL while the STC is down.
Correct any errors you may find in XCOMUTIL and rerun XCOMUTIL with XCOM down.
