This Application has Unexpectedly Quit: Invocation of this Java Application has caused an InvocationTargetException. This application will now exit. (LAX)

Solution:

In a non-graphics terminal (without the X11R6 libraries installed), setting the DISPLAY variable will give rise to an exception, since the terminal is not meant to support graphics.

For that reason, in non-graphics terminals (running though the command prompt), the variable DISPLAY will need to be unset.

Run "unset DISPLAY" and run the installer again to resolve the issue.
