Introduction:
We are receiving IEC161I 074-053 message for DTR0002 dataset due to which the Db5T detector is not getting started.
We don't have any backup of the Data Store.
We ran a verify across the Dataset and received VSAM Open Return Code 190.
Can you let us know if there is anyway to restore Dataset DTR0002?
Or creating a new DTR0002 is the only way?

Answer:
Unfortunately there is no specific way to restore the Datastore Dataset DTR0002.
Unless you have taken specific backups of the datastore we do not Auto backup the data.
Given the IBM explanation of the message you are getting System action: OPEN processing ends for the data set.
The error flag (ACBERFLG) in the ACB (access method block) for the data set is set to 190 (X'BE').
Programmer response: Restore the data set. I think your only option is to create a new DTR0002 dataset.
