Get blank screen returned when attempting to connect to the CA Mainframe Software Manager URL defined by your site

All CA Mainframe Software Manager related address spaces are up and running, and user is attempting to connect to the CA Mainframe Software Manager GUI, and they type the URL address, which is something like http://nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn:ppppp/ where 'n' is the IP address or hostname, and 'p' is the port number, nothing is returned except a blank screen and the browser status bar reads 'done'.

Solution:

Ensure that you specify /MSM, or the full name of http://nnn.nnn.nnn:ppppp/MSM as the full URL address. Without the /MSM specification at the end, you will only get a blank screen returned and the browser status will be set as 'done'.
