Gateway status stuck at "won't_start"

One of the failed upgrade task stuck in the DB.
Below is the sample error which we would see in the ssg logs /opt/SecureSpan/Gateway/node/default/var/logs/ssg*.log.
ssg_0_0.log:2015-10-20T21:10:37.028-0600 INFO 1 com.l7tech.server.util.GatewaySanityChecker: Running upgrade task: upgrade.task.800003=com.l7tech.server.upgrade.Upgrade71To80IdProviderReferences.
- Steps to clear this upgrade task from DB:
- Log into Gateway -> Option 3 -> enter root password
- service ssg stop
- mysql> select propkey from ssg.cluster_properties;
- Check if the upgrade task from the log is available in this table and delete all upgrade.tasks using the command:
*Note: There may be more than one upgrade task, which may indicate the upgrade of the db was not complete
mysql> delete from cluster_properties where propkey='upgrade.task.800003';
- Reboot the machine.
