Introduction:
The problem shows only particular device  which has memory component contains “Reserved “and “Filtered”.
This particular device with memory component contains “reserve”. It is required to take out this contain from its monitoring component.
It is expecting the result as Status “Filtered” and SNMP Poll Rate “Not Polled” .
However the result not like expected where it shows as Status “ Active” and SNMP Poll Rate “ 5Min”.


 
Background:
It was running in Version 2.5 however the fresh installation version 3.5 it shows different not expected result

Instructions:
Since the All Routers still appears associated to the Router monitoring profile, it will use the filter for the metric family in there, which is * (all). So it will continue to poll the item.
Need to un-associate the All Routers with the Router Monitoring Profile again. If possible, restart the DA, so it will save this value to the DB on shutdown.


To un-associate: 
Please go to Monitoring Profiles, then go to Router MP, click the Collections tab then select Manage button at bottom. 
Please remove All Routers from the list. Save. Now see if Router MP is associated to the device still (by going to device and clicking Monitoring Profiles). 

If it is,  stop the DA so it’ll save that association to the DB (on shutdown). If you can backup, do backup so that change is saved to the backup, otherwise if you need to restore, it will come back.
