A file was locked for update (being edited) when the user with the lock was knocked off the system. The lock remains and the user cannot access the file even when he/she has logged back on.
To unlock the file(member) being edited, the CA Gener/OL Administrator must logon to Gener/OL with the UTILITY userid.
Then run the program called FREEMEM. This will prompt the Administrator for the program that needs to be freed.
