Question:
Fail Configuring Cluster Database Replication in AWS instances.

Reproduction procedure:
① Added slave user of Unit 1 (Primary)
/opt/SecureSpan/Appliance/bin/add_slave_user.sh

② Add slave user of Unit 2 (Secondary)
/opt/SecureSpan/Appliance/bin/add_slave_user.sh

③ Make slave of Unit 1
/opt/SecureSpan/Appliance/bin/create_slave.sh

④ Make slave for Unit 2


An error occurred when executing ③.
The details of the implementation are as follows
hostname or IP for the MASTER: IP of the secondary node
replication user: repuser 
replication password: replpass 
MySQL root user: root 
MySQL root password: root 
clone a database no

ERROR 2003 (HY000): Can not connect to MySQL server on 'X.X.X.X' ()
Environment:
API Gatewa in AWS.
Answer:
Database replication applies to Appliance Gateways only.
So, the scripts(add_slave_user.sh, create_slave.sh), would not be able to run these on an AWS instances.
