Question:

My archive tapes have been backed up monthly. How can I exclude the week-end's data from the totals the report shows for the selected month?

Answer:

The EXCLUDE/INCLUDE commands will allow you to select specific days of the week.

Insert EXCLUDE SATURDAY and EXCLUDE SUNDAY or INCLUDE MONDAY ... INCLUDE FRIDAY statements in the JCL.
