If the eTrust Security Command Center uninstall program works correctly, the following products are uninstalled:

    CleverPath
    CA Common Services
    eTrust Common Services
    eTrust Security Command Center.

  2. Uninstall CA Common Services
If the eTrust Security Command Center uninstall program does not work correctly (possibly because the install did not work correctly), uninstall CA Common Services using the 'UninstCCS.exe' program.

Otherwise, manually remove CCS by doing the following:

    1. Delete the registry keys and all subkeys at:

      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Computer Associates International, Inc.
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ComputerAssociates\CAMessageQueuing
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ComputerAssociates\CA-Unicenter
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ComputerAssociates\CA-Unicenter/TND
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ComputerAssociates\CA-Unicenter/TNG
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ComputerAssociates\Unicenter TNG

    2. Use the Services Control manager to make sure the following services are stopped:

      CA-AutoDiscovery
      CA-IPXDiscovery
      CA-MessageQueuing
      CA-Unicenter TNG Severity Propagation
      CA-Unicenter
      CA-Unicenter WorldView Agent
      CA-Unicenter NSM Auxiliary Services
      CA-Unicenter (NR-Server)
      CA-Unicenter (Remote)
      CA-Unicenter (Transport)
      CA-Unicenter Discovery Scheduler
      Unicenter Message Queuing Server

    3. Delete the following registry keys to remove the services: (a reboot is required before they are actually removed)

      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\CA-AutoDiscovery
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\CA-IPXDiscovery
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\CA-MessageQueuing
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\CAServProp
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\CA-Unicenter
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\CA-UnicenterWVAgent
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\CA-WebInterfaceServer
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\CCI_NR_Server
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\CCI_Remote
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\CCI_Transport
      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\wvschdsv

    4. Delete the CCS install directories (a reboot may be needed before this step):

      C:\UCS
      C:\CA_APPSW
      D:\UCS
      D:\CA_APPSW

    5. Use SQL Enterprise Manger to remove the following sql databases:

      CAICALDB
      CAIDOCDB
      CAIOPRDB
      CAISTADB
      CAITRPDB
      CAIWMSDB
      TNGDB

  3. Uninstall eTrust Common Services
If the eTrust Security Command Center uninstall did not work correctly and eTrust Common Services is still installed on the machine, use regedit to navigate to the key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\eTrust Common Services

Make sure the 'Dependents' value is '0'. Then run the command found in the 'UninstallString' value (i.e. Copy and paste the string into a command prompt window:

  4. Uninstall CleverPath Portal
To manually remove cleverpath portal do the following:

    1. Run the 'uninst.exe' file found in the cleverpath portal installdir, ("C:\Program Files\CA\CleverPath Portal" by default). If this does not work, just go on to step b).

    2. After the uninst.exe process has completed, verify that the portal installdir has been completely removed. If it has not, remove it:

      > rd "C:\Program Files\CA\CleverPath Portal" /s /q

    3. The cleverpath portal uninstall does not remove any of the SQL Server configuration or any of the cleverpath portal data. To cleanup the database, use SQL Enterprise Manager to delete the 'portal' database and delete the 'portaldba' user account.

Note that if you plan on reinstalling CleverPath, there is no need to delete the 'portaldba' user account. Instead simply delete and recreate the 'portal' database and reassign the 'portaldba' user as a dbo user. This is the quickest way to clear out the cleverpath data and start with a clean database for the new install.

  5. Manually remove eTrust Security Command Center
To manually remove eTrust Security Command Center do the following:

    1. Run scc_zap.cmd to remove all of the msi registry information for the eTrust Security Command Center installation.
