When running an import in CA SAM the import job fails with the below error message:
'Record differs in data source - ASP-I10'

The problem is caused by different data sources specified in the CSV file and the import job.
When importing data using a XML job, the following key specifies the data source:
If the import job is submitted via the CA SAM web GUI (Exchange > Data Exchange > Import), the data source is specified in the 'Data Sources' box.
If using an XML file to run the import:
Solution 1: make sure that the key 'import_data_source_id' contains a value that matches with the field 'import_data_source_id' in the CSV. This can be done either by changing the key in the XML or updating the data that is loaded in the CSV file.
Solution 2: remove the 'import_scope' section of the CSV file, this will use the 'import_data_source_id' of the CSV file only.
If submitting the job via web GUI:
Solution 1: make sure that the 'Selected data sources' field in the 'Data sources' box of the import job has all the relevant data sources selected based on what is coming from the CSV file in the field 'import_data_source_id' in the CSV.
Solution 2: select the option 'No restriction' in the 'Data sources' box of the import job.
Other possible solutions exist, the best approach is to understand how defining a specific data source for an import job affects the data. This issue can be caused by inconsistent data in the data source or badly configured import job.
