ISSUE: Seeing the following event on Host_systemedge model in Spectrum:

Error processing event 0x116002f - Details: Event was already processed by another southbound gateway model, to avoid loop it will be dropped.

CAUSE: In the above error, Spectrum had already processed the 0x116002f event for South Bound Gateway (SBG) purposes from another Host_systemedge or other model that is capable of processing events for South Bound Gateway. Another Host_systemedge or an EventAdmin model for example.

RESOLUTION: Implement either one of the following resolutions:

1. If the event should not be processed for SBG at all, comment out or remove the event from the EventDisp file for the model type in question. In the above example, the 0x116002f event is configured in the $SPECROOT/SS/CsVendor/Ctron_Gen_Host_Host_systemedge/EventDisp file. Either remove the entry or comment it out. Then update the Event Configuration for the landscape by clicking on the Update Event Configuration button located in the SpectroSERVER Control subview in the Information tab of the VNM model.

2. Set the "Enable_SouthboundGateway attribute id 0x116296e to No on the Model where the event was asserted
