The document explains why this error occurs and how to increase the limit

Environment WCC: 11.3.5 HA on Windows 2008

Problem The following error appears in WCC

"The server has reached the maximum number of nodes in all active flows allowed. The Flow Graph has been disabled."

The WCC maintains a counter for total number of nodes in all opened flows and every time you open some flow this counter is increased by the number of nodes in this flow. And if you try to open a flow which would cause the counter to be higher than value of monitor_env_flow_limit_allflows in configuration then this action is rejected with the error message.

This was implemented to prevent slowdowns with too many opened flows at one time. The counter can be cleared by the restart OF WCC.

You can increase the value of the parameter as follows

  1. Open SMC console in Configuration tab.

  2. Execute this command:

    insert_global_preference: MONITOR
    monitor_env_flow_limit_allflows: 200000
You can increase this upto a maximum of 2147483647
