The following error messages are seen in the OneClick gui or in the AlarmNotifiers Notifier.OUT:
"No Associated Text"
"<date> - <time> - An event occurred for model '<model name>' of type '<type>' for which no event format file exists. (event [<hexcode>])"
This usually happens in a distributed environment in which multiple SpectroSERVERs and multiple OneClick servers are used.
To resolve this:
Compare the files contained within the $SPECROOT/custom/Events/CsEvFormat and the $SPECROOT/custom/Events/CsPCause directories.
On the server that you are seeing the problem, most likely these files were not manually copied to the respective server.
For instance, you have 2 OneClicks and 5 SpectroSERVERs. On OneClick A, you create events 0xfff00000 and 0xfff00001. These Event files need to be manually copied to OneClick B.
If the problem is being seen in Notifier output, then those files also need to be copied to the SpectroSERVER.
Once the files have been copied to the other OneClick host (put the events in the $SPECROOT/custom/Events/CsEvFormat and the alarm files in the $SPECROOT/custom/Events/CsPCause directory) , you need to upload them to the OneClick cache. To do that, navigate to that OneClick admin page (http://ochost:port), click on Administration, Update Event and Alarm files and click the Update button.
If you have to move them to the SpectroSERVER, they go in the same location, but you then need to cycle the AlarmNotifier process.
