Issue:
Connecting to Oracle database 11g with ojdbc7 driver. In JDBC step for one of the table for the column with BLOB data type, using SELECT query is failing with below error:

"There was a SQLException: java.sql.SQLException: Invalid column type: getString/getNString not implemented for class oracle.jdbc.driver.T4CBlobAccessor"
its like BLOB data type is not supported.
Cause:
Oracle JDBC Driver 11g Release 2 (11.2) no longer supports getString() method for retrieving BLOB column values using ojdbc7 driver, a workaround to this problem is to remove  " select * " and select only none-blob type columns in the select statement.

Resolution:
If it is must to select BLOB data type columns, then please open a support case to request for the patch referred by number DE353786 as inability to work with BLOB data type has been identified as product defect.
Please follow below steps to apply the patch:
- Stop DevTest workstation.
- Download and place patch jar file into /lib/patches folder. Create 'patches' folder is not existing already.
- Remove/Rename lisatmp_10.x folder.
- Start DevTest workstation and test again.
