Background:
- Customer created a database account called “IDMEBSBD” , informing it was granted with same privileges like “APPS” user account.
Environment:
vApp 14.2
Oracle EBS 12

Instructions:
1. Hypothesis is a UserID access rights issue.
2. To discard/confirm , configure the UserID for ODBC Datasource Configuration with a Oracle System Administrator Account
ie :
TNS Service Name =ebsts
UserID=APPS

** Where "APPS" is a full Rights User on Oracle-EBS

3. Also configure from IDM User console->Endpoints->Manage endpoint->Create Endpoint->Oracle Applications
**Under Connection Information Section :
Add the following :
ODBC Data source name (DSN)=OracleEBS
Database user name =APPS

** Under Applications section, we left the default values as appearing below :
Application Database Name=APPS
Administrative Database Name=APPLSYS
Applications User Name =ETAAPP

4. Save , Endpoint should be created .

5. Additional Test to confirm all is going well :
   a) From Provisioning Manager Console, Opened the new Endpoint created and do an "Explore & Correlate ",
Set Action = "Explore endpoint to Managed Object " option selected only for testing purposes.

   b) modify a User Description, save and check if  change is replicated to Oracle-EBS endpoint
