Issue:

One of my user groups is experiencing LMP Key messages for a product we are not licensed for.

CAS9180E - CPU 0DBE27 REQUIRES A LMP KEY TO RUN PROD (RW)

Also this message appeared during logoff processing:

The user had been using Endevor displaying a processor and when logging off received the above message.

Product RW is 'CA Report facility for TSO' which we do not have installed.

Does Endevor internally use the 'CA Report facility for TSO' and how do we eliminate these LMP key error messages?

Environment:
z/OS
Cause:

Possible cause is the FULLMENU setting in the DB2 Tools PARMLIB member SETUPxx.

Resolution:

CA Endevor does not use CA Report facility for TSO.

Are you using, or have you recently installed/upgraded, any of the CA DB2 Tools?

If so, please check the FULLMENU setting in the DB2 Tools PARMLIB member SETUPxx.

FULLMENU(NO) should display only the options for which you are licensed for. Otherwise, if it set to FULLMENU(YES), a user may have innocently selected an unlicensed facility and triggered the LMP warnings.
