Issue:
User is attempting to create an element selection list in the Endevor ISPF interface and getting this U1112 error while the Endevor Administrator has no problems.

In the trace data returned to the user's terminal, we see the following ABEND messages:
BC1PSM10: F000 ABEND CODE=OPEN NUMBER=1111

BC1PSM10: F000 ABEND CODE=OPEN NUMBER=1112

We then tried running the Retrieve in batch and we got the following error messages:
@ BC1PINIT MAIN: ASXBSENV fieldX(009FC3A8) USERID TD99999 , ASXBUSER TD99999
 ICH408I USER(TD99999 ) GROUP(TH000101) NAME(ENDEVOR             )

And the
VSI1102E  RETURN CODE 0008 FEEDBACK CODE 152 RECEOVED FROM OPEN MACRO
C1G0140S  ENDEVOR - C1BM3000 ABENDED CODE U1112

The EN$TRESI External Security trace showed:
BC1PSCRN: Alternate ID swap is bypassed for DDNAME *UNKNOWN
BC1PSCRN: OPEN   ID=TD99999 SYS00008/CMTEST.NDVR.$MCF.UAT

Environment:
All support versions of CA Endevor SCM
Cause:
The user's id - TD99999, does not have the necessary security authority to access the MCF data set.

Endevor should be swapping to the Endevor ALTID to access the MCF data set but the ESI trace shows that the swap to the ALTID was bypassed.

Resolution:
Check the RACFUID keyword in the C1DEFLTS and verify that an ALTID has been defined.
Updated the C1DEFLTS accordingly, assemble and relink it.
Refresh the LLA if necessary.
