EM WebStart Service cannot be started

 Jetty Web Server cannot start successfully due to following SSL related error: 

 [DEBUG] [main] [Manager.EMWebServer] Failed to start the Jetty web server: Keystore was tampered with, or password was incorrect
java.io.IOException: Keystore was tampered with, or password was incorrect

Caused by: java.security.UnrecoverableKeyException: Password verification failed
at sun.security.provider.JavaKeyStore.engineLoad(JavaKeyStore.java:770)




APM 10.x


em-jetty-config.xml contains incorrect path / location of the keystore file and incorrect name for keystore file.




 Make sure the path of the keystore file and name of the keystore are defined correctly on the em-jetty-config.xml file


For example, upon creating the keystore, the keystore file is named "cacerts" and the location is inside "/opt/CAAPM/Introscope10.x/CA/keystore" directory:

To ensure that the EM is referring to the correct path and name:  em-jetty-config.xml


Correct entry:

<Set name="keystore"><SystemProperty name="introscope.config" default="./config" />/CA/keystore/cacerts</Set>


Incorrect entry:

 <Set name="keystore"><SystemProperty name="introscope.config" default="./config" />/CA/keystore/keystore</Set>
