Symptom:

eHealth cluster join command fails with timeout error

Instructions:

Make sure that the eHealth systems can communicate on the ports necessary for cluster communication:

Port#     Process                                    Environment Variable
------      -------                                       -------------------------
5050     Remote Message Transfer (In)        NH_RMT_IN_PORT
5051     Remote Message Transfer (Out)     NH_RMT_OUT_PORT
5052     Remote File Transfer (In)                NH_RFT_IN_PORT
5053     Remote File Transfer (Out)             NH_RFT_OUT_PORT

Confirm that the port numbers required for communication between the systems are open bi-directionally.

Normally this messsage is related to Firewall blocking the ports : 5050, 5051,5052,5053

Or just an intermittent connection failure between the Servers.

You can increase some timeout values if is not a problem with Firewall.

Please change/increase this Variables values on All BE Systems to:
(Note, if any system variable not appears, just create)

Recommended Change
NH_DRPT_HEARTBEAT_INTVL = 120
NH_DRPT_MISSED_MSG_LIMIT = 3
NH_DRPT_RUN_CMD_TIMEOUT = 90
NH_DRPT_STATUS_MSG_TIMEOUT = 60
NH_CLUSTER_CMD_TIMEOUT = 300
NH_DRPT_COMPRESS_RDI = Yes
NH_RCS_CONNECT_TIMEOUT = 300
NH_RCS_MSG_TIMEOUT = 20

After set this values, will need to recycle the eHealth Services!
