When tying to install Common Components
on Linux Red Hat 6.9 what is the failing error below referencing:
failing with: 16 May 2018 15:18:37 FATAL GetMungeHostname - Excetion occured while running the [[/tmp/262493.tmp/eiamhelper, -version]] java.io.IOException: Cannot run program "/tmp/262493.tmp/eiamhelper" (in directory "/tmp/262493.tmp"): java.io.IOException: error=13, Permission denied
The /tmp directory has "noexec" flag set. Need to remove the "noexec" flag and rerun the installer.
Note: Option 'NOEXEC' flag in the mount command does not allow the execution of executable binaries in the mounted file system. However, when a script (a text file that begins with she-bang line; i.e., a line that begins with #!) is given to some shells (bash), it will run the executable named on that line (e.g., /usr/bin/perl) and connect the content of the script file to the stdin of that executable, which may not be on that drive. _
The mount command typically mounts a file system. (Arguably, loop-back or bind mounts may be considered an exception to this generality.) In some cases (e.g., /tmp), this file system will contain only one directory.
