Symptoms:

dxmodify fails connect to dxserver database as EiamAdmin account during ldif import.

 

Environment:

EEM r12.x

All Windows platform

 

Resolution:

Enable anonymous bind to ca directory.

1. Modify %DXHOME%\config\access\itechpoz.dxc file by setting the access-control value to false.

# static access controls

set access-controls = false;

2. Modify %DXHOME%\config\settings\itechpoz.dxc file by setting the min-auth value to none.

# security controls from set min-auth = clear-password;

set min-auth = none;

3. Reload dxserver configuration with new changes from command prompt.

dxserver init all

 

Now, execute the following command to import ldif file:

dxmodify -a -c -H ldap://current_fullyqualifiedhostname:dsaport -f iTechPoz-export.ldif

The LDIF is imported.

 

NOTE:  Do not forget to revert the changes to the configuration files mentioned in Step 1 and 2, after the import is completed.
