Question:
While upgrading to CA Directory 14.0, during the upgrade process the installer doesn't prompt/allow to change the install location of the CAPKI folder.
How can I change the location of the CAPKI folder during the install.
Answer:
If the etc/profile.CA file currently exist on the server, and has the CASHCOMP enviroment variable pointing to /opt/CA/SharedComponents, the installer will not prompt you to specify the location for the CAPKI installation.
Since the CAPKI defaults to the $CASHCOMP (/opt/CA/SharedComponents) environment variable, it will install to the $CASHCOMP location that is set in the profile.CA file.

You can edit the profile.CA file, and comment the lines with CASHCOMP.
Save the changes and proceed to the install/upgrade.
Once you do that, you will be prompted to specify the location for the CAPKI installation, during the install.
