- Stop the CA SystemEDGE service.
- Delete the file C:\Program Files\CA\SystemEDGE\Data\port1691\.v3_eng.id
- Start the CA SystemEDGE service.
- A new .v3_eng.id will be generated with a unique SNMPv3 Engine Id.
If you will be imaging a system with SystemEDGE Pre-Installed or Copying the SystemEDGE\Port number to multiple systems it is best to first delete the .v3_eng.id to ensure when the agent starts on a unique Engine Id is generated for each host.
