After installation Dollar Universe Universe.log populated of the following like couple of messages:
<< 2018-08-09 09:35:59 40239208/ /uni_getmsg/fopen /000000000 - <DUAS>/bin/uni_msg.txt
2018-08-09 09:35:59 40239208/ /uni_getmsg/fopen /000000002 - No such file or directory
Check within the bin directory to see if you have a file uni_msg*
If indeed you find that file, like for example uni_msg.txt.lnk instead of uni_msg.txt this confirms the issue.
Kit uncompressed on a different machine than the target machine
Uncompress the installation kit on the target machine and use the commands in documentation to avoid any file corruption
