DSM Explorer will not open when Checkpoint VPN is installed

With Checkpoint VPN installed, a remote installation of DSM Explorer will not launch and causes the following error: CMM209411 - SME_SPI_NETERROR: A network error occurred.

The version of Checkpoint VPN is: EndPoint Security, version VPNR75, Build 835002205.

All ports are open and properly configured on the client machine. Ping, Camping both work bi-directionally but CAF Ping fails.


There is a feature in Checkpoint called SecureXL. It is enabled by default.

This needs to be disabled for the remote DSM Explorer to work.
