Issue:
If a user sends an attachment with double byte characters in the file name, for example attaching "Помоги.txt" to an outgoing email, it will result in a display name of "???????.txt" Additionally when the message is downloaded from the CA Data protection iConsole it will save as "________.txt".
Environment:
CA Data Protection 15.2
Cause:
The current MAPI library does not support the unicode version of the attachment property and the ANSI version obtained contains '?' chars for non-English characters.
Resolution:
This is a known issue in the current design and there is no workaround.
Additional Information:
Orchestria, Orchestria EPM, Orchestria APM, CA DLP and CA DataMinder are all brand names for the product now known as CA Data Protection
