Question:
Is there any way to control access to the dynamic DSNZPARM change feature using the CA Sysview Performance Management Option for DB2 for z/OS (IDB2) Security file?
Environment:
CA Sysview Performance Management Option for DB2 for z/OS (IDB2)
Answer:
CA Sysview Performance Management Option for DB2 for z/OS (IDB2) only displays ZPARM settings. It is through Thread Terminator (PTT) that the update to ZPARMS can occur, and it is through plan based security where the ability to update ZPARMS can be controlled.
