Question:
The lisa.project file under PROJECT_ROOT, was manually modified to use a different configuration file as ActiveConfig.
After some time, it was noticed the ActiveConfig file was reverted to the default value - project.config.
Does lisa.project set the active config file the project.config automatically?
Environment:
All supported DevTest releases.
Answer:
If you are changing the active config file manually by editing the lisa.project file in the server and modifying the ActiveConfig tag, the next time the project is reloaded in the Workstation, the lisa.project file will be set to use the config file that was made active in the Workstation.

To make a config file active, open the project in the Workstation, right click in the configuration and select Make Active.
This will automatically update the ActiveConfig in the lisa.project file and won't be reverted back.
