Does CA Service Desk Manager support ADFS (Active Directory Federation Services) for authentication?

Introduction:
We are planning an installation taking into account ADFS (Active Directory Federation Services) for authentication purposes.
Question:
What steps are necessary to setup CA Service Desk Manager to authenticate against ADFS (Active Directory Federation Services)?
Environment:
CA Service Desk Manager 17.1
CA Service Desk Manager 17.0
CA Service Desk Manager 14.1
CA Service Desk Manager 12.9
Answer:
All CA Service Desk Manager versions can be configured to use external authentication by set "Allow External Authentication" for the access type. From the CA Service Desk Manager perspective there is no particular settings to consider ADFS (Active Directory Federation Services) differently to any other LDAPs.

So basically it is just how to set up IIS/Tomcat with ADFS (Active Directory Federation Services).
