Introduction:

SHA- 2 Algorithm is an evolved version of the SHA (Secure Hash Algorithm) cryptographic function family.  It supports the SHA-256 block size.

Question:

  My application/Web Servers supports SHA-256 certificates/private keys.  Can the TIM successfully decode them?

Environment:
Any MTP TIM or TIM release
Answer:

Yes, Engineering has successfully tested SHA-256 with TIM and it decoded the traffic successfully. No code changes are needed to do this.
