Discovery Wizard not appearing under any login

Issue:

The discovery_server wizard no longer appears accessible with any user account including administrator.

 

In the portal.logs we see the following:

ERROR [PortalInitAction:111] (4) not found, Received status (4) on response (for sendRcv) for cmd = 'nametoip' name = '/UIM_851/UIM_851__hub/UIMROBOT/discovery_server'

 

Resolution:

This is due to the wasp probe not being able to find the discovery_server probe on the primary hub.

 

Please verify the ump_common directives in the UMP's wasp.cfg and that the discovery_server probe is operational.

The address is case sensitive and should follow the below format.

<ump_common>
    discovery_server = /becph01-T3401_domain/becph01-T3401_hub/becph01-t3401/discovery_server
</ump_common>

Once resolved, restart the wasp probe.
