Issue:

Getting errors when discovering a systemEdge AIM

Error examples:

<IP>:161 (******) Received SNMP error genErr 0 {1.3.6.1.4.1.2620.1.6.7.4.3 NULL {}} - 1.3.6.1.4.1.2620.1.6.7.4.3

<IP>:161 (******) Received SNMP error genErr 0 {1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.1.1.104.2.1.7.1 NULL {}} -

Resolution:

When eHealth does a discovery it will test many OID's to see which certification(s) apply to the device/MIB being discovered. This can at times cause "Received SNMP error genErr" errors. If the OID's are not present in the device/MIB being discovered they can be ignored. In this case the discovery result is expected to use only systemEdge specific OID's for the systemEdge AIM (1.3.6.1.4.1.546) Since the errors are referencing other vendor OID's (1.3.6.1.4.1.2620, 1.3.6.1.4.1.3375) and not systmEdge vendor OID's (1.3.6.1.4.1.546.) the errors can be ignored.
