After upgrading two Fault Tolerant (FT) pair of SpectroServers and also installed a new pair of Fault Tolerant SpectroServers, all landscapes in the DSS environment are visible in OneClick.

When opening the Device Certification in OneClick you receive DIFFERENT TYPE MODEL Alarms and it complains that two or more of the SpectroServers in the DSS have different catalogues, so Device Certification can not be opened.

Restoring the new upgraded SpectroServers to legacy, loading the catalog with "-c *.SSBD" and then loading the saved SSDB with "-m *.SSDB" (and then synching the FT servers) does not fix the problem.

For the new SpectroServers added to the DSS, copy a SSDB (saved by Online Backup (OLB) for example) from another SpectroServer (SS) in the DSS (best would be from the Main Location Server (MLS)) to the new SpectroServer, so you can load this catalog.

On the new SpectroServer: (from the $SPECROOT/SS directory)

  • save off models - ../SS-Tools/SSdbsave -m <new models>.SSdb

  • load 'other' catalog - ../SS-Tools/SSdbload -ilc <save of OLB other SS>

  • load saved models - ../SS-Tools/SSdbload -m <new models>.SSdb

With an Online Backup you can sync the Fault Tolerant server (secondary SS), so both have the same catalog again.
