what is the difference between executing the unload process manually and unloading it automatically by started task based on the percent file usage? Both executions save the last unload date the same way?
The manual execution provides a means to execute either online or offline. By that, I mean that the data collector can be either up or down. But, during an offline execution the whole file is generally unloaded. We don't save the last unloaded record. (The batch job tells the data collector to do this, so in the offline mode when the data collector is down, the last record unloaded won't be saved.)
