Diagram Trace Utility (DTU) startup issues

When starting the Gen Diagram Trace Utility (DTU) from a Windows workstation, it appears to start and the initial splash screen displays and then it goes away without error.   This can be on a workstation where the DTU had previously worked without this type of behavior.



Suggest one of the following to resolve this problem: 

1.  Delete the App data for DTU.  Specifically, delete the subdirectories from the: 'C:\Users\<userid>\AppData\Local\CA\Gen 8.5\cfg\DiagramTrace' directory, both the entire content of the ...\configuration and ...\workspace directories.

2. Launch/start the Diagram Trace Utility with the 'clean' option as follows: 'DiagramTrace -clean'  This command (clean) deletes runtime metadata and cached data in the configuration directory.
