When launching a discovery wizard in UMP and not able to see the OS Type in your discovered machine the problem has to do with entering the wrong credentials.
It can be seen that when providing the right credentials there is an icon on the right side of the screen, next to the "Origin" of the machine. This icon represents a key, meaning that the credentials were entered properly. Also, we can see on the left part of the screen, close to the "Name" of our machine, the icon of the operating system where our machine is hosted.
When entering the right credentials we can see the OS Type is being shown, along with the version, name and description of the OS.
However, when entering the wrong credentials we won't be able to see the icon with the key next to the "Origin" field. Also, we can easily realize that the icon representing the OS where our machine is hosted has been replaced by a general?device icon.
As per entering the wrong credentials, we won't be able to see the OS Type field under the features of the machine discovered.
