Issue:
In order to define an Oracle RAC connection in the Automation Engine, according to the online documentation, you must choose ORACLE OCI for the field "Database type".  Following is additional information and screenshots for setting this up on your system.

Resolution:
  1. Check the tnsnames.ora file and you will see an entry similar to this:
WO112 =
  (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = VWGSUP12.sbb01.spoc.global)(PORT = 1521))
    (CONNECT_DATA =
      (SERVER = DEDICATED)
      (SERVICE_NAME = WO112)
    )
  )
Note: After any modifications to the tnsnames.ora file, you must restart your DB_SERVICE agent for the changes to take effect.
