ICSCERRP32E (Last update June 15, 2015 )
INTERR: Region is too small for service, PNL=item-1
- Reason: A variable panel does not fit in the current region.
- Action: If the error recurs and you are in CA Ideal™ for CA Datacom®, enter DISPLAY ERROR (DIS ERR) in the command area. Otherwise, enter DIS INTERR. Record all information displayed and report this problem to CA Ideal™ for CA Datacom® Technical Support.
The Error indicates that the panel being transmitted is larger than the screen size.
SRVC=PMS FUNC=APS RC=006
6 - Panel-set does not fit region size (trunc not allowed)
This means that not all lines from the panel can be displayed .
The recommendation is to set:
SET COMMAND LINES 1, and/or SET COMMAND SEPERATOR N .
Also using a terminal mod 4 (43x80) instead of mod 2 (24x80) will resolve the case
With 4 command lines plus the command separator line, there is not enough lines left in MOD2 terminal for some static panels. Panel T01F is the DISPLAY fill in panel with PF key descriptions at the bottom.
If 4 COMMAND LINEs are required, then SET COMMAND SEP N to eliminate the COMMAND SEPARATOR line and allow the static fill in panels to be displayed. This is NOT a change due to 15.1 since the panel was last updated in 1992.
If you can use a MOD4 terminal instead of MOD2, then the issue is also resolved.
