The steps outlined in the following guide was followed to configure the CABI 4.1 SP3 in Linux to generate Ad Hoc reports:

https://docops.ca.com/ca-spectrum/10-1/en/managing-client-applications/report-manager/generating-ad-hoc-reports

But generating the Ad Hoc reports, the following error is displayed:

java.util.concurrent.ExecutionException: com.businessobjects.sdk.core.server.CommunicationException$UnexpectedServerException: Database error: [unixODBC][Driver Manager]Can't open lib '/usr/local/lib64/libmyodbc5w.so' : file not found. (IES 10901)

Environment:

CA Spectrum 10.0, 10.1

CABI 4.1 SP3 for Linux

Cause:

The MySQL driver file name placed in /usr/local/lib64 does not match with the name in the <CABI install directory>/sap_bobje/enterprise_xi40/odbc.ini file.

Driver=/usr/local/lib64/libmyodbc5w.so

Resolution:

Edit the odbc.ini file and replace with the correct MySQL drive file name.

Here are the steps:

1. Edit the <CABI install directory>/sap_bobje/enterprise_xi40/odbc.ini file

2. Locate the following entry:

Driver=/usr/local/lib64/libmyodbc5w.so

3. Change to:

Driver=/usr/local/lib64/libmyodbc5.so

4. Save the file.

5. Restart all servers from SIA using stopservers and startservers command.
