DB2 V11 abend after Conversion

Introduction:

I have converted two DB2 subsystems from V10 to V11. One was successful, one was not.

The one that failed had an abend S0C4 RC=3B in module CASRDB2V at displacement +98 when an attempt was made to connect to the subsystem by a user. I discovered I am missing a PTF for ENF-DB2, RO57094, but wonder why one DB2 conversion failed while the other was successful.

The difference between these two are, one is protected by Top Secret security and the other is protected by DB2 native security.

Just wondering why so I can report it to management.

Question:

Why do I have one of my DB2 subsystem abending and not the other one?

Environment:
CA Common Services R14.1 - Top Secret R16 - Top Secret for DB2 -
Answer:

Your DB2 conversion was successful on your DB2 native security subsystem because when you are in DB2 native security,
ENF/DB2 doesn't hook this DB2 subsystem and no ENF/DB2 intercepts are used.

For any lpar where you have at least one DB2 subsystem protected by TSS/DB2, you have to apply RO57094.
