Issue:
When installing Datamart from the CA Service Management DVD, no errors occurred, the installation seemed to complete successfully, but the casm_dm database was not created.
Environment:
CA Service Management 17.1
CA Service Management 17.1.0.1 (rollup #1)
Cause:
The password for the "sa" username, which is part of the specified connection parameters during installation of Datamart, includes one or more characters that are not alphanumeric English.  For example, a password that contains = or &.
Resolution:
Change the password to simplified password, a password that does not contain special characters.
 
After Datamart is successfully installed, and the database has been created, the password can be changed to a password that contains the special characters.
Additional Information:
The fix is planned to be included in 17.1.0.2 (rollup #2).
