When I try to connect to the repository in Datamaker, I receive the following error message:
Test Data Repository: Repository is not populated! The Repository table gtrep_system is not populated so this Repository cannot be used.
This error is usually seen when the repository is not installed and setup correctly using the Datamaker Repository Kit. We highly recommend working with a DBA for this process.
To resolve this issue, first make sure you have downloaded the CA Test Data Manager Repository Kit from CA Support Online. These directions outline how to download TDM (which is where the repository kit can be found as well): https://support.ca.com/us/knowledge-base-articles.TEC1903942.html
Once downloaded, open the GENXXXXXXX.zip file. Within the 'DB-install-kit-3.X.X' folder, click on the 'Oracle_Install_Kit' or the 'SQL_Server_Install_Kit'. Follow the directions in this documentation to continue the installation: https://docops.ca.com/ca-test-data-manager/4-4/en/installing/install-ca-test-data-manager/install-the-repository Once installed and configured, follow the directions in this documentation to connect to the repository in Datamaker: https://docops.ca.com/ca-test-data-manager/4-4/en/installing/install-ca-test-data-manager/connect-to-the-repository.
