Two report keywords were added to CA VISION:Results 5.0. For the REPORT statement, users now have more flexibility in formatting output data to be ported to both mainframe and non-mainframe platforms. HTML and DELIM and other enhancements in CA VISION:Results 5.0 added more power to an already feature rich Information Management and report writing system. The HTML feature is only available for the z/OS version.

HTML - produces an HTML formatted output document using standard LIST statements, with some new syntax on the REPORT statement. The HTML document is written to either a PDS or an HFS file structure, depending on the JCL used for the program. The document can then be viewed via a z/OS based product such as IBM's WebSphere, or downloaded to a workstation for viewing on a web browser.

DELIM - allows you to determine what delimit character to use for the output. This feature directs the report writer to produce a delimited file instead of a report that can be downloaded to a workstation for importing to a spreadsheet. The delimited file is produced with all fields specified on the LIST statement formatted as displayable data, and a user-specified delimiter character is inserted between fields, and at the beginning and end of the produced line of data.
