Description:

CV abends with SFxx abend where 'xx' is the hexadecimal representation of an SVC issued by the CV that has not been installed.

Solution:

Knowledge base articles TEC476845 and TEC482160 have good information concerning system abend code SFxx where 'xx' is the hexadecimal representation of an SVC issued by the CV that has not been installed.
Typically this abend happens at CV startup or at the start of an IDMS batch job or when a CICS interface IDMSINTC or IDMSINTL is started.
For CV this can be due to an incorrect SVC defined to the SYSTEM definition.
For CV, batch or CICS this can be due to an incorrect SVC defined to the security table RHDCSRTT.
It can also mean that the SVC defined to SYSTEM or RHDCSRTT was not successfully installed with CAIRIM.

But this abend can also occur after CV is fully started if a NODE definition has specified an SVC that has not been installed.
When SVC numbers are being changed, many clients will remember to change the SVC in the SYSTEM and RHDCSRTT definitions, but you must also check any NODE definitions that specify SVC and CV numbers to be sure they are also specifying the correct SVC and CV number for the relevant remote CV.
