Question:
Is the use of custom synonyms supported in PPM on Oracle?

Answer:
A synonym is an alternative name for objects such as tables, views, sequences, stored procedures, and other database objects. They basically allow you to create a pointer to an object that exists somewhere else. They are usually used when granting access to an object from another schema and wanting to avoid users to have to know which schema owns the object.

Custom synonyms are not supported on PPM or Data Warehouse.
