Issue:
When running CSE_CONFIG for the CSE Install on Windows 2012 for SQL Server, get an error "Error - 1 while running Encyclopedia initialization.

Begin applying configuration ... Initializing Coordination tables. < This is where error occurs >  Looking in the cfg and log folders, but do not see any log files that would help troubleshoot the error.

Also, tried configuring with Windows authentication vs. User Id and Password. In each case, created the ODBC DSN and made sure connection is successful. Have tried both CSE and COORD databases in one and separate.

Resolution:
The Gen CSE is a 32-bit application so the 32-bit version of the SQL Server Client (and Tools) needs to be installed. A 32-bit ODBC System DSN needs to be created as well. Use the following executable to create a 32 bit ODBC connection to SQL Server. C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe.

It was also noted:
"Have tried configuring with Windows authentication vs. User Id and Password" Gen CSE Install does not support Windows authentication, need to use SQL Server (Userid and Password) authentication.
