Creating new CR type

Question:
I want to create a new cr type, since I'm creating a new custom table which needs the same functionality as in call_req. What are the consequences? Is it going to work the same way as pr,in,cr?
Environment:
CA Service Desk Manager 14.1
CA Service Desk Manager 17.1
Answer:
The “ticket type” is stored in table  "Call_Req_Type" (crt). You can use pdm_load to the Call_Req_Type" table and add another type. But then you have only a new value without any logic behind it. This will not work and is not supported.
