Issue:

Unable to create Virtual Service through request and response pair from DevTest Portal as we are not getting the default service group option in the drop down. Please note that we have default group set as VSEasy in lisa.properties file.

lisa.vseasy.default.group.tag=VSEasy

Is there any way to create multiple groups so that it appears in the drop down in the DevTest Portal?

Environment:

DevTest 9.5.1.

Cause:

Subsequent customization caused the group name not to be available in the Portal, for undetermined reasons.

Workaround:

Whilst a clean reinstall of DevTest resolves the issue, it is recognized that this may not always be appropriate. In such instances please use the following workaround:

Create a different group when deploying a virtual service using the DevTest Workstation. This new group will be available in the Portal.

1.    Open workstation and a project that contains a VSM.

2.    Right click in a VSM and select “Deploy/ Redeploy to VSE” option.

3.    In the Deploy Virtual Service window, Group Tag field, provide a new group and select the Deploy button.

4.    The new group should be available in Portal.
