Introduction:

How to create a new Dashboard in CA SDM BOXI with existing reports.

Environment:
Products? CA BOXI: 3.x versionsReleases? CA Service Desk Manager 12.9? CA Service Desk Manager 12.7
Instructions:

 

Login into business Objects Info view.

èAt Home Page Click on -> Dashboard-> my dashboard.

èYou will have -> My dashboard Information Page(Fig I) as below

èFrom Fig-I In Add/remove Tabs-> Click on Add.

èAnd in popup window, specify the name as per your requirement-> And in Location, specify the path where you want to save. As in below fig-II

èSelect “Edit dashboard” at right end of screen As in below Fig-III, then you will page view as fig IV:

èIn Analytics Tool box-> Navigate to Corporate Analytics-> Expand the path where you saved the report.

EX: In below screen expanded the path of OOTB CA Reports:

èNow pull the desired report from Analytics Toolbox-> to right side of screen.

Ex: Pulled the Asset list report from Analytics tool box to dash board(right side)

 èYou can pull multiple reports and adjust them as per your requirement, and adjust them as in below

èClick on “Save” Button.

èYou can add/remove columns as per your requirement.

èIn Fig VII, there are 2 columns, By clicking on Add column -> In Layout-> 3rd column is added
